Caldera Yachting Presents 2018 Strategy at Annual Corporate Meeting

Caldera Yachting, a leading Greek company that specializes in yachting in the area of the island of Santorini, presented its strategy for 2018 and business objectives during its annual meeting, organized for the second year at the De Sol Hotel & Spa congress hall.

The meeting was held on April 29, under the title “Welcome on Board! Santorini 2018” and attended by the company’s staff.

During the meeting, Caldera Yachting CEO Yiannis Mattheos gave an extensive presentation of the company’s activities from its launch in 2009 to date.

“Our company creates experiences for our visitors. We are not here just to organize excursions …. Success is to create dreams that people from all over the world want to live and will cherish as a life experience,” Mr Mattheos said.

He also referred to the company’s latest news and distinctions in 2017 and 2018; the available fleet for the new season and the alternative excursions to be provided to Santorini visitors. Regarding the company’s strategic activities that are currently underway, Mr Mattheos underlined that the aim is to increase sales and strengthen the company’s strategic position in the region’s tourism market.

Caldera Yachting’s CEO particularly referred to the company’s new organizational structure, which is in accordance with the high standards set by large-scale companies and its importance for the smooth operation of internal processes.

Among the main issues discussed during the meeting was also the new Greek legislation and the way it affects the operation of companies in the yachting industry.

Moreover, Mr Mattheos urged the staff to embrace the company’s vision and principles, in order to continue its development, create experiences for its customers and offer high-quality services.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Caldera Yachting honored members of its personnel for their excellent performance in 2017, using key criteria including customer and partner ratings. The company’s staff members received awards in the categories including: Yacht of the Year; Crew of the Year; Crew Member of the Year; Transportation Services; Fast-growing and High Performance.

The Premier Santorini Travel Services was also honored as a partner of Caldera Yachting for its high level of customer support and transportation services.
