Organized by LaingBuisson International, publishers of the International Medical Travel Journal (IMTJ), Argo Travel and Greece’s medical tourism council Elitour, the summit is a high level event aimed at key decision makers involved in the medical tourism and international patient market. The event will host top speakers from all over the world, who will share the latest developments and challenges in the field of medical tourism and provide attendees with the necessary information to further develop their skills. “We create and further enhance the conditions for the development of medical tourism in Greece,” Elitour President George Patoulis said. The IMTJ Medical Travel Summit has successfully taken place in Croatia, Spain and the UK during the last three years. It has provided participants with high-level education and numerous opportunities for developing relations with individuals, professionals (through B2B meetings) and major medical tourism bodies. According to the organizers, the summit’s content and topics will constitute an exceptional tool for medical tourism professionals, focusing on major issues concerning the market. IMTJ Award Winners 2017. The event will also include the IMTJ Medical Travel Awards ceremony, which celebrate the success of the leading players in medical tourism. The awards ceremony and dinner will take place on the evening of May 23 (venue TBC).
