Divani Palace Reveals ‘Acropolis Secret’ for Fine Dining in Athens

The Acropolis Secret, the roof garden bar and restaurant of the Divani Palace Acropolis Hotel, is inviting all to experience a unique culinary experience in the heart of Athens.

Offering a stunning view of the Acropolis, the restaurant is welcoming guests for yet another season, offering refined flavors and authentic hospitality.

“Featuring the signature style and unique hospitality of the Divani Collection Hotels, Acropolis Secret offers a menu of the finest modern Greek cuisine alongside a select wine list, to ensure that every meal delivers a memorable combination of tastes and flavors,” the hotel’s management said in an announcement.

Its dishes honor traditional Greek gastronomy, using high quality Greek products, aiming to please even the most demanding palates.

Choose from a wide selection of delicious appetizers, including Cretan mini spinach pies with hand-made phyllo pastry; grilled octopus with olives and Santorini fava (split pea purée); peppery rocket salad with tender veal prosciutto, sweet gruyère cheese and golden grilled peaches.

The journey continues with pasta and risotto, as well as fresh fish and meat including the spectacular sliced Black Angus outside skirt tagliata, served with hash browns and mixed baby vegetables flavored with aromatic rosemary.

The delicious desserts include the premium Valrhona chocolate hemisphere filled with crème brûlée and mint crème Anglaise and the Sifnos honey pie with soft, anthotyro cheese and cinnamon, served with mastic ice cream with pink pepper, sweet bergamot and sesame.
