Ferrari Club ‘Passione Rossa’ Gets Ready to Come to Greece

Passione Rossa, the most popular Ferrari car owners’ club in Italy, is getting ready to visit northwestern Greece to hold its mototourism event in Ioannina of Epirus.

The event, which will see 32 luxury cars driving in Ioannina, will take place between June 8-10.

The five-star Epirus Palace is the club’s official partner and will serve as the starting point for a series of events (Concours d’ Elegance, Speed Race), including a presentation of the Ferraris/members of Passione Rossa.

“This is a world-class event, in honor of the Italian luxury car manufacturer Ferrari, which in 2017 celebrated its 70th anniversary since its establishment, with many events,” the hotel’s management said in an announcement.

The events, which include the free participation of residents, will take place around important sights and monuments of Ioannina.

The Passione Rossa members will make daily excursions to various destinations of Epirus and experience the region’s culture, learn its history and taste traditional products.

During the event, a parade of all participating Ferrari cars will drive through the center of the city of Ioannina. An official gala dinner will follow in a ballroom of the Epirus Palace, with the attendance of important regional figures.

All events are held under the auspices of the Greek Tourism Ministry, the Region of Epirus and the Municipality of Ioannina and supported by the Hellenic Automobile Company (ELETA) and select companies of Ioannina, Epirus.

When Passione Rossa wraps up its event at Epirus it will then move on to the island of Corfu. The event on the Ionian island will run June 10-12.
