Also known as the “Oscars of luxury” the awards recognize excellence among hospitality and lifestyle brands and services worldwide. Having received the Signum Virtutis seal of excellence in last year’s awards, the resort is nominated again this year in the “Best Greek Hotel & Resort” category. “We are the perfect venue for the event… We have a vast experience – spanning decades – and we are looking forward to providing winners and guests with an amazing ceremony… under the stars, in view of the Aegean Sea… With our distinctive gastronomy, elite wellness experiences and beautiful coast, we will offer the true Cretan hospitality and the ‘Capsis Touch’,” Dia Capsis, the resort’s President and Managing Director said in an announcement. Tourism industry leaders from all over the world are expected to attend the ceremony and receive the Signum Virtutis seal of excellence. The event will also provide industry executives with the opportunity to network with a number of VIPs including Prince Massimiliano della Torre e Tasso; Princess Costanza della Torre e Tasso and Nathalie Princess of Hohenzollern. “The Out of the Blue, Capsis Elite Resort and its stunning location, includes all the facilities and amenities required for this exclusive and demanding event. Our 2017 ceremony has been a great success… this year promises to be even better,” said Khalil EL-Mouelhy, Chairman of the awards. The awards ceremony will be followed by a lavish cocktail reception and a gala dinner. The Out of the Blue Capsis Elite Resort is a five-star deluxe hotel complex located on a private peninsula near Heraklio on Crete. It includes three hotels with various types of accommodation, from family bungalows to private-pool villas.
