Greek Ferries Amend Itineraries Due to Seamen’s Strike on May 30

Ferries in Greece will remain docked on Wednesday, May 30, as the Panhellenic Seamen’s Federation (PNO) has announced a 24-hour strike, participating in the industrial action called by the General Confederation of Greek Labor (GSEE), which represents the private sector, and Greece’s public sector union ADEDY.

As a result, ferry companies have amended their itineraries on the domestic and Adriatic lines.

More specifically, Minoan Lines on May 30, will amend its itineraries on the domestic line as follows:

HERAKLION – PIRAEUS (H/S/F KNOSSOS PALACE)
Departure from the port of Heraklion to the port of Piraeus when departure is permitted.

PIRAEUS – HERAKLION (H/S/F FESTOS PALACE)
Departure at 24.00 from the port of Piraeus to the port of Heraklion.

Furthermore, ANEK Lines will amend its Adriatic itineraries, as well as its routes to Crete for May 30 and 31, and June 1.

F/B BLUE GALAXY will depart from Piraeus at 23:59 – Arrival to Chania at 09:00 the next day.
