In the previous months, the HTO welcomed press representatives from Russia, Germany, and Australia. It also hosted reporters from Qatar on occasion of the launch of direct flights from Doha to Thessaloniki by Qatar Airways. The journalists had the chance to visit major sites in the region and go on an off-road tour of Halkidiki’s more remote villages, visit its olive oil and cheese production units as well as sample local cuisine.
