Divani Hotels Opens ‘Mundial Lounges’ for FIFA World Cup Fans

The countdown has begun for the 21st FIFA World Cup which will be held in Russia starting on June 14, and the Divani Collection Hotels is inviting guests and visitors to enjoy the games in the specially designed “Mundial Lounges” of its hotels in Athens.

According to an announcement, the Divani Caravel; Divani Palace Acropolis and Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso will be transformed into “sports bases” during the world cup.

“The Divani Collection Hotels is excited to participate in the top sports event of the year… A comfortable and luxurious hotel environment is the perfect setting to host football fans from across the world, providing them with the opportunity to follow their favorite national team through every minute of this prestigious event,” the group’s management said in an announcement.

The Mundial Lounges are designed to “transfer” the sports fans to the grand stadiums of Russia, making them the perfect place to experience the intense emotions of the world’s biggest football tournament. “Spacious lounges, large screens, impeccable service and delicious food will accompany each moment of the competition, combining the famous Divani Group hospitality with the excitement and adrenalin of this year’s FIFA World Cup,” the announcement said.

The mundial lounges will be available to guests and visitors throughout the event, from June 14 until July 15, “to make sure that this year’s FIFA World Cup will be a truly unforgettable experience”.

The Divani Hotel Group is comprised of seven hotels in Greece (Athens, Meteora, Larissa and Corfu) and has had a successful presence in the Greek hospitality industry for 60 years.
