The app, created by GSEE’s Union of Working Consumers of Greece, has been broken down into rights concerning several areas of travel such as Air Travel, Ferry, Taxi, Hotels and includes a useful contact list of tourist-related services including airports, ports, tourist police, and embassies, as well as the option to send an emergency message or directly submit a question or complaint to authorities. The new application, aiming to improve services offered and keep consumers abreast of legal developments, was presented during the launch this week of GSEE’s Summer Campaign for Protection – Information and Support of Greek and Foreign Travelers in Greece. Besides the presentation of “Traveler Rights GR”, the union also presented awareness-raising actions for people with disability and relevant travel services as well as the availability of its travel and consumer guides in Braille and audio format.
