Thessaloniki-based travel agency Beleon Tours has been honored as Greece’s Leading Travel Agency 2018 and Greece’s Leading Destination Management Company 2018 at the 25th World Travel Awards (WTA) Europe Gala, which took place recently in Athens. Beleon Tours had also been named Greece’s Leading Travel Agency for 2017, during last year’s WTA ceremony. “This is a significant achievement for the team of Beleon Tours… Once again it confirms our commitment to the company’s principles: Sustainability and continuous development in all aspects of activity,” the group’s President & CEO Leonidas Dimitriadis said in an announcement. “The award is not only an international recognition of the prime level of the services offered, but also the ultimate testimony of confidence from our partners and customers who cast their votes,’’ he added. Beleon Tours’ distinction coincides with the company’s 15th anniversary. “This year’s World Travel Awards has been a very significant event and a great birthday present,” the announcement said. Beleon Tours is offering tourism packages for travels in Greece, Russia and other countries in Europe.
