IFITT Greece Announces New Board of Directors

The Greek Chapter of the International Federation of IT in Travel & Tourism (IFITT) has announced its new Board of Directors, following the elections that took place in June.

IFITT is the leading independent global community for the discussion, exchange and development of knowledge about the use and impact of new information and communication technologies (ICT) in the travel and tourism industry.

The new BoD includes executives of companies and organizations active in the travel and tourism industry, academics and researchers from all over Greece, and is as follows:

President
Christos Ditoras, E-Commerce and Marketing Executive, Hilton Athens

Vice President
Dimitris Serifis, CEO, Nelios

General Secretary
Danai Tsogia, Sales and Marketing, Athens Express Tour Operator

Members
Antonios Giannopoulos, Founder, the voyager voice, Adj. Lecturer AUEB, Program Manager BCA
Stavros Kefalas, Co-founder, Tourix
Chariton Brousalian, Sales and Marketing Manager, Greek Travel Pages (GTP)

Minas Liapakis, Co-founder, EyeWide Digital Marketing Agency

The aim of the Greek Chapter of IFITT is to promote the organization’s activities and products on a local level; create a network in the local travel and tourism industry, the TMT (technology, media, and telecommunications) sector and academia; provide information to organisations and individuals on IFITT, the IFITT Chapter, their activities and products; organize workshops and small conferences.
