Agapi and Kostantza Sbokou will remain shareholders in Golf Residences, operator of a number of hotels on Crete, and will retain full participation in and management of the hotel units. “We welcome Evergolf and our partnership with the Vassilakis family, confident that our common values in the area of tourism services, as well as the important synergies that can be developed between us, will further enhance our company’s growth dynamic,” said Agapi Sbokou. With a total capacity of 3,020 beds, Golf Residences operates through Sbokos Hotel Group the 4-star Agapi Beach in Heraklion, the 5-star Blue Palace, A Luxury Collection Resort and Spa in Elounda, the 5-star Cretan Malia Park, Koutouloufari Village Holiday Club, and Village Heights Golf Resort. Golf Residences also holds a 50 percent share in the Sheraton Rhodes Resort. “We feel honored to be associated with a family active in business known for the quality it has offered in the field of tourism and at the same time the satisfaction that Evergolf’s involvement in the hotel industry comes through the collaboration with such a recognized and successful company,” said Eftychios Vassilakis.
