Located in the medieval village of Megalohori, Vedema has evolved from a 400-year-old wine cellar and a 100-year-old mansion into an authentic Cycladic-styled property, encircled by a traditional stonewall and surrounded by vineyards that overlook the traditional village. The resort currently includes 46 spacious suites and a spa, while maintaining the centenary mansion and the winery. Since the beginning of 2018, Vedema has revamped most of its outdoor public areas, including the Pergola all-day restaurant, the adjacent main pool area and pool bar, as well as the open-air Jacuzzi area. In addition, the resort’s Presidential Villa – housed in the 100-year-old mansion – has been fully renovated and now consists of three bedrooms; three bathrooms and refurbished interior and outdoor areas. The Aegean Suites and the Olympian Villas have also been upgraded with new furnishings, crisp linens and ornate fabrics. The Vedema resort includes private patios, many with their own jacuzzis or private pools. Its renovation project will be completed in 2019.
