Counting 40 years in hospitality, the Golden Age Hotel in Athens this season has opened its doors with a fresh new “Urban Chic” look after undergoing a full and extensive renovation.

Visitors to the Greek capital can look forward to refurbished rooms and public areas and the provision of personalized services under the hotel’s ‘Urban Chic’ concept and motto.

“Our urban chic philosophy and our minimal fully equipped rooms, as well as our natural products offer a comfortable stay,” the hotel’s management said in an announcement.

The Golden Age Hotel offers five room types to cater the needs of each traveler: Urban Chic Rooms; Superior Rooms; Junior Suites; Executive Suites and Family Suites.

All rooms include comfortable furniture; Hypnos beds, mattresses and pillows; Coco-Mat linen made of cotton; Zealot bathroom amenities; guaranteed cleanliness and clothing hygiene following EN ISO 9001:2008 and RAL GZ-992/1 certification; and free wifi.

The hotel’s facilities include five fully renovated and equipped conference venues for corporate events. The Golden Age Hotel’s banquet department offers tailor-made packages for events.

In addition, the Golden Moments Restaurant offers Greek and Mediterranean cuisine with tasty light dishes, while the Golden Bar is considered the perfect spot to meet with friends or business associates.

The hotel is located near the capital’s center, the Acropolis, the Megaron – The Athens Concert Hall and other sites.
