Event News China to Host ‘World MICE Day 2018’ Conference in October by GTP editing team 29 August 2018 written by GTP editing team 29 August 2018 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 8 MICE experts and professionals from all over the world will gather in Qingdao, China, during October 25-27, to attend the annual conference World MICE Day 2018 (WMD-2018), which this year will focus on ways to boost the global meeting industry along the “Belt and Road” strategy. “World MICE Day is not only a perfect place for extending business or creating connections, but also extremely useful for those who are willing to work with China as well,” BIT Congress Inc., the event’s organizer, said in announcement. The three-day event will include six forums: the Keynote Forum for government representatives; the MICE Industry Forum for PXOs; the MICE Organization Forum; the MICE Partnership Forum; the Technology and Innovation Forum and the PSA (Pre-scheduled Appointments)/Training Courses. Registration for hosted buyers at WMD-2018 is currently open and will last until September 15. For more information press here. Golden Camel Award The WMD-2018 will also include the Golden Camel Award, which will honor individuals and organizations of the MICE industry including hotels, convention and exhibition centers, and PCOs in eight categories: – Most Attractive MICE Destination, – Outstanding Convention Hotels & Convention Centers, – Outstanding PCO Award, – Rising Star of Conference Service Team, – Best International Conference Brands, – “The Belt and Road” Friendship Award, – The Best MICE Innovative Technology Award, – The Most Influential MICE Media. In addition to the trophy, the award winner will also receive an honorary certificate. Furthermore, the Golden Camel Award will include a special recognition award, the Qingdao Meeting Ambassador.
