A new web platform dedicated to sports events taking place in Greece was recently launched to inform and attract athletes and nature lovers from all over the world, as well as promote sports tourism.
Named outdoor-activities.gr, the website includes information on a number of running, cycling, swimming and other races, as well as triathlon tournaments, aiming to facilitate users that wish to make a reservation, book their accommodation or learn more on Greece’s sites of attraction.
Furthermore, it provides information on activities linked with nature such as running and cycling; climbing and hiking; skiing, sailing, diving and canyoning.
The website also includes scientific articles on health, diet and sports, as well as information on Greece’s “hidden treasures” .
Moreover, outdoor-activities.gr is open to the organizers of sports events that seek ways of promoting their activities.
