Ways to boost bilateral tourism cooperation between Greece and Moldova was the main issue on the agenda during a recent meeting in Athens between Greek Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura and the Ambassador of Moldova to Greece Anatol Vangheli.

During the meeting, Minister Kountoura informed the Moldovan Ambassador that Greece will participate in the third edition of the UNWTO Global Conference on Wine Tourism, organized by the United Nations World Tourism Organization in Chisinau, Moldova, during 6-9 September.

The minister and the Moldovan Ambassador agreed for discussions of tourism cooperation between the two countries to continue within the framework of conference.

Among the topics to be discussed will be the provision of know-how from Greece to Moldova in the field of tourism development.
