The sixth edition of the MeetingPlanners Russia 2018, the annual event for global destinations and MICE executives, opened its doors in Moscow on Sunday with a welcome dinner and continues today with a number of events and networking opportunities.

Focusing on the Russian and CIS event business, MeetingPlanners Russia aims to create synergies between event planners from Russia and other CIS countries, and worldwide MICE providers.

Taking place on September 10-11, in the central InterContinental Moscow Tverskaya, it provides participants with numerous opportunities to network during coffee breaks, luncheons and after work cocktail day-closures.

’’MeetingPlanners Russia is a unique B2B gathering, where we match the needs of Russian and other CIS countries planners,” said Allain Pallas, Managing Director of Europe Congress, the organizers of the event.

The two-day event  hosts an number of MICE providers from Austria, Croatia, Cuba, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Mexico, Singapore and Sweden among other countries.

Furthermore, the Russian and CIS event planners will be represented by a strong lineup of agencies and corporates including Gazprombank, Lufthansa City Centre, Congress Avia, Gazprom Oil, HRG Russia, ATH American Express and Continent Express.

In addition, during the event, Jonathan Bradshaw from The Meetology Lab will deliver a keynote speech and lead the destination presentations and Q&A sessions scheduled for Monday and Tuesday.

MettingPlanners Russia 2018 will conclude on Tuesday evening with a cocktail event.
