The beauties and tourism offerings of the Greek islands of Milos and Serifos will be featured in the second series of Australian TV show “My Greek Odyssey”, which is broadcast by a number of TV networks, reaching millions of viewers in Greece and abroad.

More specifically, a TV crew will travel to Greece to film on Serifos during September 17-20, and on Milos during October 2-8.

The press trip’s details were recently discussed between production manager in Greece Ioanna Kontogeorgiou and Notis Martakis, head of counseling firm MTC Group, which represents the two municipalities.

According to an announcement, the show’s episodes are expected to attract a large number of viewers in Australia, which is one of the main tourism markets for the Cyclades islands.

“My Greek Odyssey” consists of 13 episodes per season that “travel” its viewers to some of the most impressive and unique islands of Greece. Greek-Australian host Peter Maneas will visit Milos and Serifos in order to explore their rich history, culture, gastronomy and unique people.

“The show aims to entertain, educate and inspire its viewers to get to know the Greek islands and make them their next holiday destination,” the announcement said.

The TV production is carried out under the auspices of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO).
