Management of Grande Bretagne, King George Announces Organizational Changes

The management of Athens-based hotels Grande Bretagne and King George has announced organizational changes within its cluster of hotels, which also includes the Sheraton Rhodes Resort. The three hotels are owned by Lampsa Group and managed by the renowned hotel chain Marriott International.

According to an announcement, Gregory Liasides has been promoted from Complex Hotel Manager of Grande Bretagne and King George to General Manager at Sheraton Rhodes Resort.

Following a long career at Hyatt Regency and Park Hyatt, Gregory joined the Lampsa Group in 2009. “After nine years of experience in Athens’ historic hotel, I feel ready to undertake this important task as the General Manager of Sheraton Rhodes Resort and I commit for the best. I trust my new team and our goal is to offer high-quality services and an unforgettable hospitality experience on beautiful Rhodes,” he said.

Furthermore, Anneta Svoronou has been promoted from Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing to Complex Hotel Manager at Grande Bretagne and King George.

After working for major hotels in Rome and London such as the Rome Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria and London Hilton Park Lane, Anneta joined the Lampsa group in 2011.

“It is an honor to be part of the team for all these years and happy with this new opportunity. My new role is a challenge… and I will do my best. Our goal is to continue to improve the hospitality experience and surpass our visitors’ expectations,” she said.

Lampsa SA of the Laskaridis Group has been listed on the Stock Exchange since 1946 and is actively involved in the tourism sector in Greece and abroad.

US-based Marriott International owns or operates 5,700 hotels and resorts in more than 110 countries.
