The Single Social Security Entity (EFKA) on Friday launched two public tenders for the lease of the historical hotel “Esperia Palace” and of a neoclassical building on Zalokosta Street, both located in central Athens, according to the Greek Labor Ministry.

Both properties are to be leased under 5-star international hotel standards. The historic 185-room Esperia Palace Hotel, a property of 12,000 square meters, is located at 22 Stadiou Street and has been closed from 2010. The second property on 7-9 Zalokosta Street is a four-story neoclassical building (1,600 sqm).

The tenders were launched in the context of the ministry’s real estate program known as “Recovery of the buildings of the Historic Center of Athens – Exploitation in terms of social reimbursement”.
