Be My Guest: New Trendy Boutique Hotel Opens in Athens

Be My Guest, a new trendy boutique hotel located in the area of Thissio in Athens, recently held its grand opening, welcoming partners and friends.

Senior executives of online and offline travel agencies, tour operators, hospitality professionals, stakeholders and “Be My Guest” friends attended the glamorous event, which was held at the hotel’s roof garden.

Be My Guest is the brainchild of Nikos Anthrakidis, managing director, and his wife Maria Papageorgiou, civil engineer and project manager. Located in the heart of Athens within a walking distance from the city’s main sites of attraction, the hotel offers spacious rooms suitable for young couples, families, solo travelers and business travelers. It also includes a cozy lobby area and a spacious roof garden.

“Our intention was, not only to add another new boutique hotel in Athens, but to create the best trendy boutique hotel in its category,” Anthrakidis said during the event.

“We feel very happy and proud to have a score of 9.3 points and great guest reviews on the leading online platform Booking.com, also achieving average occupancy rates of more than 90 percent,” he added.

Anthrakidis also spoke of the company’s strategy and particularly thanked the hotel’s staff for their hard work and commitment since the first days of the hotel’s operation.

During the grand opening, renowned tenor Babis Velissarios and pianist Evangelia Mavridou entertained the guests, performing songs form the Greek and international music scene.
