Event News Domotel Hotels Launches ‘Life Experiences’, Holds Special Wine Event by GTP editing team 18 October 2018 written by GTP editing team 18 October 2018 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 22 Domotel Hotels & Resorts has launched the “Domotel Life Experiences” program, which focuses on gastronomy and wine. “Domotel Life Experiences” is part of the group’s continuous efforts to provide personalized services to its guests, and aims to offer them the chance to broaden their knowledge on wine and gastronomy. Kicking off the program, Domotel recently held a special event dedicated exclusively to the vineyards of Attica. In collaboration with the “Wines of Athens” Network of Wine Producers, Domotel held the event at its historic Kastri boutique hotel, where partners and guests had the opportunity to tour the property’s venues and participate in a special workshop on the vineyard of Attica. During the event, the key wine varieties produced in Attica were presented by wine editor, Meropi Papadopoulou and the co-owner of renowned Athenian wine bar “heteroclito”, Marie-Madeleine Lorantou. Guests also participated in a vertical wine tasting session of Savvatiano, designed by co-owner of “heteroclito”, Dimitris Koumanis, and experienced sommeliers. The event came to a close at the hotel’s restaurant, “Kastri Bistro”, where guests enjoyed selected wines of five wineries of Attica and a special tailor-made finger food menu created by Executive Chef Dimitris Karampampas. Domotel Kastri The wine producers that took part in the event included Domaine Papagiannakos, Markou Vineyards, Ktima G. Kokotou, Mylonas Winery and Anastasia Fragou Winery. Domotel Hotels & Resorts includes seven hotels in popular locations in Greece: The Domotel Kastri in Athens; the Hotel Olympia in Thessaloniki; The Domotel Xenia Volos in Volos; the Domotel Agios Nikolaos in Sivota; the Domotel Arni in Karditsa; the Domotel Anemolia in Arachova, and the Domotel Neve in Kaimaktsalan.
