Epirus Palace Congress & Spa

The historic Epirus Palace Congress & Spa, located in the Region of Epirus in northwestern Greece, has announced the launch of an extensive renovation project, aiming to further upgrade its infrastructure and luxury services.

With tourism demand increasing in the area of Ioannina, the hotel’s management decided to proceed with the total makeover of its facilities, a project expected to be completed before Easter 2019.

“Our aim is to cover the needs of the modern traveler – business or leisure; and provide our guests with a modern aspect and prime facilities for business meetings and social events,” the hotel’s management said in an announcement.

Having MICE tourism among its top priorities, the hotel has particularly focused on its business venues, with the overhaul and modernization of the conference halls.

“We plan to create state-of-the-art conference halls, that will be ideal host venues to major events.

“This new investment project, will provide Epirus Palace with a new upgraded product, which will change the hospitality standards, not only for Ioannina but for the whole region of Epirus,” the company said.

Epirus Palace has assigned the AAADesign+ firm to combine the hotel’s infrastructure with the unique diverse culture of Ioannina, which includes elements from antiquity, the Byzantium, the Ottoman empire and the 19th century.

The five-star Epirus Palace Congress & Spa is located in the historic town of Ioannina, in the heart of the so-called Greek Alps.
