The campaign is part of the KLM Takes Care corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy and will run under the support of AIA. Photo © GTP During October 24-28, those traveling from Athens will have the opportunity to be briefed at KLM’s specially designed stand at Departure Hall 2 on the company’s efforts to reduce its environmental footprint, as well as to contribute to issues that are wider in the environment and society. Also, at KLM’s stand, passengers will be able to take pictures and participate in prize draws with tickets for Amsterdam and Aruba. KLM works with bodies such as WWF to achieve sustainable solutions designed to reduce CO2 emissions. These solutions include introducing fuel efficiency programs for staff and offering various CO2 compensation programs to travelers and businesses. In addition to nature and environmental protection projects, the company supports social programs in various parts of the world. For its efforts, KLM has been included 13 times in the Dow Jones Worldwide Sustainability Index.
