GMA aims to create new marinas in the country and upgrade the existing infrastructure

Greece is a country blessed with 16,000 km of coastline and more than 3.000 islands. Its idyllic climate and friendly seas make the country an ideal destination for yachting and water sports of all kinds.

The members of the Greek Marinas Association offer high end services, thus creating a safe environment for those either visiting a marina or making it their Homeport.

The continuous cooperation of GMA with the State Authorities and Sea Tourism Organizations aims to improve the framework for the establishment, development and exploitation of the Greek marinas. The purpose is to create new marinas in the country, upgrade the existing infrastructure and attract relevant investments, thus leading the sector to sustainable growth.

We are pleased to announce that this year, for the first time, Athens will be the center of attention for the global marinas industry, since the world renowned ICOMIA World Marinas Conference will take place 25–27 October at the state of the art new venue of Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center.
