Serifos Travels the World Through Panos Emporio Fashion

Media and blog sites across Scandinavia will have the chance to “virtually” visit the Greek island of Serifos through vivid photos featuring the latest collection by fashion house Panos Emporio.

The Cycladic island’s pristine beaches, romantic footpaths and traditional whitewashed houses serve as a backdrop for the photo shoot featuring the Sweden-based fashion firm’s newest collection which aims to bring a breath of Aegean air to more than 30 markets where Panos Emporio items are sold.

The project was organized earlier this month by the Serifos Municipality in collaboration with tourism promotion consultants MTC Group.

“We succeeded in showcasing Serifos to other media besides those specializing in travel in efforts to enhance the island’s visibility in other more original ways,” said Serifos Mayor Antonis Antonakis.

Panos Papadopoulos, the founder of Panos Emporio and head of design, currently lives in Sweden but was born in Elefsina, Greece.

Panos Emporio is Sweden’s leading swimwear and accessories brand with some 2,700 shops worldwide.
