The main race of the Nafplio Castle Run is designed for experienced runners and includes a 5km route through the landmark Palamidi fortress. The first part of the race – 850 meters – includes the ascent to the fortress through its 999 stairs and the second part a 4,15m descent to the finish line. The Nafplio Castle Run also includes a 10km race, a 3km race for all, and a 1,5km junior run. As an official partner of the event, the Amalia Hotel Nafplio is offering a 40 percent discount to participants and their companions for their stay during the Nafplio Castle Run.
