Athens Airport Arrivals Up 11.1% in Jan-Oct 2018

Arrivals at Athens International Airport (AIA) increased by 11.1 percent between January-October 2018 and reached 20.96 million passengers compared to 18,86 million during the same period in 2017.

According to airport data, both domestic and international traffic exceeded the corresponding 2017 volumes by 5 percent and 14.2 percent, respectively.

Furthermore, during October, Athens Airport passenger traffic enjoyed a robust increase of 7.7 percent, reaching 2.21 million passengers. The growth of international passengers was the driver of the overall traffic rise, with a 12.6 percent increase, whereas domestic traffic experienced a small decline of 1.7 percent.
