According to airport data, both domestic and international traffic exceeded the corresponding 2017 volumes by 5 percent and 14.2 percent, respectively. Furthermore, during October, Athens Airport passenger traffic enjoyed a robust increase of 7.7 percent, reaching 2.21 million passengers. The growth of international passengers was the driver of the overall traffic rise, with a 12.6 percent increase, whereas domestic traffic experienced a small decline of 1.7 percent.
