The hotel was awarded as the Best Hotel View, Boutique Hotel in Europe at the 2018 Haute Grandeur Global Awards, during a ceremony held in early November at the Palazzo Vercace in Dubai, in the presence of prominent personalities, VIPs and influencers from the hospitality industry. The Haute Grandeur Global Awards celebrate the best hospitality experiences, acknowledging the world’s most exceptional hotels, spas and restaurants. Winners are announced based on quality feedback from guests, rather than quantity of votes by a panel of judges or the public. Only the best of the best is awarded for exceptional achievement and greatest contribution to the industry. Later in November, Athina Luxury Suites was honored as the Best Luxury Romantic Hotel in Greece at the 12th Annual World Luxury Hotel Awards 2018, during a ceremony held in Ayana Resort and Spa Bali in Indonesia.
