Hotel Grande Bretagne Holds ‘Opera Nights’ at its Winter Garden

The Grande Bretagne, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Athens, invites all to enjoy the best opera arias in its “Opera Nights” event series, held every Thursday at its Winter Garden.

“Gracefully aligned with the fine essence of the historic Hotel Grande Bretagne and the enchanting environment of its city lounge, the ‘Opera Nights at the Winter Garden’ debuted earlier this month with a duet of a soprano and a tenor,” the hotel’s management said in an announcement.

November, the last month of autumn, is exclusively dedicated to the renowned arias that were uniquely performed by Maria Callas, whereas December will feature sophisticated festive Christmas sounds.

The hotel invites its guests to indulge in the stylish and opulent setting of the Winter Garden and accompany their very own Opera Night with the champagne or cocktail of their preference, along with the fine menu curated for those exclusive nights.

“Thursdays dress-up in their Opera and Festive attire and welcome you to the city’s most elegant and enchanting refuge: the Winter Garden City Lounge,” the management of the Hotel Grande Bretagne said.

Grande Bretagne’s “Opera Nights” take place every Thursday until December 27.

The hotel is located at central Syntagma Square, close to landmark sites such as the Acropolis and the Lycabettus Hill.
