Company updates Funky Gourmet Restaurant to Move to Hilton Athens Hotel by GTP editing team 20 November 2018 written by GTP editing team 20 November 2018 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 18 Photo Source: @Hilton Athens The award-winning Funky Gourmet Restaurant will move its operations within the premises of the Hilton Athens hotel in early 2020, according to an announcement by the hotel property’s owner, Ionian Hotel Enterprises SA. “As part of its plan to upgrade the hotel’s facilities and introduce its guests to new products and services, Ionian is welcoming the Funky Gourmet to its new home,” the company’s management said. The restaurant currently counts 10 years of successful operation in the district of Keramikos in the Athens city center. It has hosted guests from all over the world and won a number of awards including two Michelin stars and two Toques d’Or (Golden Chef’s Hat awards). Funky Gourmet will close its doors on January 5, 2019, to reopen in 2020 at Hilton Athens.
