Travel and leisure communications agency Travelworks is expanding its presence to the UK market with a new office set to open in January 2019, aiming to serve as the company’s new content hub.

“Having a presence in the UK market has many advantages, which we expect to bear fruit on multiple levels,” said Travelworks CEO Kostas Panagakis.

“We will have access to a much larger talent pool of international copywriters and content creators, who will bring additional languages to the Travelworks team and allow us to address more markets – apart from Greece – as well as better serve our existing customers with the highest quality content in their language,” he added.

The new office will be headed by Travelworks’ current marketing manager, Elle Arscott.

Having joined Travelworks at period of exciting growth for the agency, Elle Arscott has been an integral part of the Travelworks team in Athens, contributing substantially to the company’s recent dynamic restructuring.

“Miss Arscott will bring her deep knowledge of the Travelworks DNA and processes to the UK office. She has worked for a number of the agency’s leading clients including the Poseidonion Grand Hotel, blueGR Hotels & Resorts and Greece Sotheby’s International Realty,” the company said in an announcement.

Moreover, Wendi Ellis will continue to act as head of English content in the Travelworks Athens office, “combining her in-depth knowledge of the Greek hospitality market with her unmatched skill for crafting exceptional travel texts.”

Having recently celebrated its fifth anniversary, Travelworks has a strong and successful presence in the luxury hospitality sector, providing PR and marketing services to travel and leisure brands including members of Leading Hotels of the World, Small Luxury Hotels of the World and a Michelin star restaurant.
