After becoming part of the “North Star” international group and acquired by Liknoss Holding SA, Greek e-tourism solution provider FORTHcrs has entered its new professional era as Liknoss.

Under its new market name presented at a special end-of-year event last week, the company – now operating as Liknoss – will continue to pursue its expansion strategy and goals for the provision of innovative e-services and solutions in the fields of tourism, rail and bus transport, entertainment and port access control, aiming to maintain its leading edge on the technology market.

The company’s current team will retain its role and through its knowhow and experience take the company to the next level ensuring its further expansion and thanks to its now stronger economic position creating significant opportunities to strengthen its position on international markets.

A leading software, e-booking and distribution systems provider in the areas of transport, tourism and culture, Liknoss is active in 14 countries through a network of 7,152 agents handling over 24 million tickets a year.

FORTHcrs SA, a former subsidiary of telecommunications provider Forthnet SA, is a Greece-based e-tourism solution provider, specializing in electronic booking services and ticketing systems for the coastal shipping industry.
