Source: OAG Punctuality League 2019 The results were revealed in the “OAG Punctuality League 2019” report, which tracks on-time performance for airlines and airports based on last year’s data. “Hong Kong Airlines’ 2018 OTP rating of 88.11 percent is the result of ongoing efforts to improve its operational efficiency and strive towards service excellence,” the carrier said in an announcement. “The airline operates out of Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), one of the busiest hubs in the world and is proud to call the Midfield Concourse its home, where over 90 percent of its flights arrive and depart.” In addition to operating from an excellent facility at HKIA, Hong Kong Airlines has continued to ensure flight information is shared timely with relevant parties. The data not only helps to improve the management of the airport’s parking bays but also provides Hong Kong Airlines with accurate and efficient bay assignments.
