Mideast Travel Named ‘World Business Leader’ at The Bizz Awards

Athens-based Mideast Travel Worldwide has received five honors at The Bizz Awards grand final, an international event which recognizes leading enterprises from different regions that contribute to the daily growth of the local and world economy.

Established by the US-based World Confederation of Businesses (WORLDCOB), The Bizz Awards also aim to promote innovative practices of small, medium and large enterprises from all over the world.

Mideast Travel was announced “World Business Leader”, as well as “Inspirational Company” for 2018.

The Bizz Awards also honored Mideast Travel Managing Director Katerina Mousbeh as a “World Leader Businessperson” and the company’s General Manager Maria Mousbeh with the “Excellence in Business Management” title.

Furthermore, Mideast’s management team received a “Recognition of Excellence in Business Leadership”.

“The awards coincide with the company’s 35^th anniversary. Its positive impact on the international tourism industry has made us more proud than ever,” Katerina Mousbeh said in an announcement.

“It is such a great honor to be on top of the world; the challenge becomes even greater. We have started a promising year with new development opportunities, innovative practices and a strong, connected team – the Mideast family. We promise to continue to inspire our customers and partners… and focus on things that make us even better,” she added.

Mideast Travel has received dozens of accolades on a national, European and international level. In December 2018, it was named “World’s Leading Destination Management Company (DMC) for 2018” at the World Travel Awards (WTA) Grand Final, which took place at the Pátio da Galé in Lisbon, Portugal.
