The award was presented to Respond on Demand’s founder, Maria Athanasopoulou, during the association’s event for the cutting of the traditional New Year’s ”vassilopita” cake. “It’s been a pleasant surprise to receive this distinction, which is very important to us. Travel agencies are aware of Greece’s tourism product and know how to promote it and therefore, it is a double honor to see our work recognized by MTTAA,” she said. Since 2009, Respond on Demand has been offering marketing services to Greek tourism companies – hotels, travel agencies and destinations, while during the last four years it has actively been supporting Greek gastronomy tourism. The company is also organizing targeted B2B meetings between Greek tourism professionals and tour operators from all over the world. Within this framework, Respond on Demand and MTTAA launched a partnership in 2014, with the aim to improve inbound and outbound tourism growth in Northern Greece, and promote the services of Greek travel agents/members of the association to travel agencies that operate in markets abroad.
