This upward trend has led cruise companies to invest in ultra-luxury ships, with a large number of new vessels currently on order by leading cruise operators. “Companies offering ultra-luxury options like Oceania Cruises, are considered ideal for those who seek for luxury travel, unusual routes and prime services,” said Tatiana Hamba, president of Cruiseway Travel, which represents Oceania Cruises in Greece. Oceania Cruises invests in next generation ships A leading culinary- and destination-focused cruise line, Oceania Cruises has ordered two Allura-class ships from Fincantieri, which will be delivered in 2022 and 2025. The contract price for each of the two vessels is approximately 575 million euros per ship. The two new ships are expected to further expand the experience offered by Oceania Cruises, with a warm, cozy environment, luxury services and the best menus at sea curated by renowned chef Jacques Pépin. Oceania Cruises offers cruises to unique destinations around the world including Capri, Ibiza, Cannes and Monte Carlo in the Mediterranean; as well as Africa, Patagonia and Chile.
