An all-inclusive resort, operating in Hersonissos, near Heraklio, Creta Maris ranked seventh on Tripadvisor’s best list, which included hotels from all over Greece. The Creta Maris Beach Resort includes 680 rooms, suites and bungalows, as well as restaurants, bars, a gym, a spa and facilities for children. “We feel proud for receiving a vote of confidence from our guests, who choose Creta Maris for their holidays on Crete,” the resort’s management said in an announcement. “This award recognizes the high-level hospitality services of Creta Maris, which are provided with absolute commitment to quality and authentic Cretan hospitality.” According to the announcement, only 1 percent of hotels worldwide receive this accolade, which honors companies that offer prime hospitality services and consistently receive excellent reviews from travelers on TripAdvisor. Held for the 17th year, TripAdvisor’s 2019 Travelers’ Choice Awards awards recognized 7,812 properties in 94 countries and eight regions worldwide in the categories of Top Hotels Overall; Luxury; Bargain; Small; Best Service; B&Bs and Inns; Romance; Family; and All-Inclusive.
