Meanwhile, adventure lovers will have the opportunity to get familiar with the nature of Messinia through the Navarino Outdoors program, which includes bike tours; hiking activities; private picnics with a view to the stunning Voidokilia beach; excursions to waterfalls, and climbing on the islet of Sfaktiria. Costa Navarino this year will also host the IRONMAN 70.3, one of the most prestigious international sports events, which will be held on April 14, with the participation of athletes from all over the world. Aiming to enhance the holiday experience of its younger guests, Costa Navarino this year will open its upgraded waterpark, which features heated pools and three new water slides. Furthermore, the Anazoe Spa will offer new treatments in the shade of hundred-year-old olive trees, inspired by ancient practices with the use of the area’s natural resources. The resort’s “Carmen Fontana” luxury yacht also awaits visitors for cruises to new destinations or special dinners on board. In addition, Costa Navarino this year will host ancient Greek theater workshops under the guidance of experts, who will take guests on a journey back to the period between the 6th-2nd century AD, offering them the chance to explore the roots of comedy, drama and satire. Moreover, the journey through history continues with private tours and interactive programs on the Mycenaean and Byzantine civilizations, in collaboration with tour operator Discover Greek Culture.
