The Region of Attica and the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels (HCH) announced this week that they have joined forces in tourism after signing a Memorandum of Understanding. The agreement signed by Attica Governor Rena Dourou, HCH President Alexandros Vassilikos and the head of the Institute for Tourism Research and Forecasts (ITEP) Konstantina Svinou, foresees cooperation towards the development and promotion of tourism options in the Attica Region and the enhancement of the tourist experience. “In the past years, we have for the first time taken a holistic approach to the visibility of Attica whether it is via of a coherent strategic plan for its promotion or the establishment of the Attica Film Office. Our synergy today comes in this context, aiming to move ahead with the tourist development of Attica… with planning, coordination and the cooperation of all stakeholders involved,” said Dourou.
