According to an announcement, the hotel will open its doors on March 1. The Chandris Hotels group has invested 2.5 million euros for the hotel’s revamp, “proving its commitment to offering high-quality hospitality services,” an announcement said. Chios Chandris is located on the coastline near the port of Chios, and the island’s landmark sites such as the castle, the market, and significant museums. Its 148 fully-renovated rooms and suites offer a mini bar, an HD TV and satellite channels; an electronic safe box and free wifi. Most rooms have a balcony with a view to the port, the hotel’s pool or the Kambos plain. The hotel also includes a restaurant and bar with a stunning view to the Chios port. During summer the hotel also operates its pool bar. Furthermore, the Chios Chandris premises include a conference and events hall that can accommodate up to 280 persons, while during summer the hotel hosts events in its pool area.
