Organized for the fourth consecutive year by the Delphi Economic Forum, a non-profit organization, the four-day event will host heads of state and prime ministers, EU Commissioners and renowned personalities from the fields of politics, economy and academia. Photo Source: Delphi Hoteliers Association Furthermore, it is expected to receive some 2,500 attendees, 200 journalists from Greece and abroad, and more than 200 students of public and private universities. The forum’s agenda this year includes 95 sessions under the theme “The Challenge of Inclusive Growth”. According to the organizer, the forum aims to continue the dialogue held during the previous years, and draw up a long-term strategy for growth in Southeastern Europe and the Balkan countries. The forum’s agenda will focus on the current international and geopolitical trends; international business and investment relations; European affairs ahead of the European Parliament elections; and Greece’s prospects. Furthermore, discussions will focus on the impact of the fourth industrial revolution, new technology trends, the development of the retail sector and the digital business transformation. Tourism is also on the forum’s agenda with sessions focusing on the latest technology trends and sustainable practices. Among the forum’s programming partners are leading international organizations and think tanks such as the European Commission; the Laskaridis Foundation; the World Bank; the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development; the European Investment Bank; Brookings Institute; the Atlantic Council, Bruegel Institute and diaNEOsis. In addition, Google will participate in this year’s forum, aiming to open the dialogue on issues related to creativity, artificial intelligence, effective leadership and the future of travel. The Delphi Economic Forum will be held at the European Cultural Center of Delphi and the Amalia Hotel.
