The Air France – KLM group is celebrating International Women’s Day on March 8, by offering its female passengers more travel services including priority boarding.

According to an announcement, the ground crew of Air France and KLM will be notifying female passengers on their priority status during check in for all international flights. The information will also be available on their boarding card.

Furthermore, ladies will be given priority during boarding.

In addition, “a sweet surprise awaits all women flying with Air France and KLM from Athens,” the announcement said.

The Air France – KLM group currently offers a network of 314 destinations in 116 countries around the world, and includes five brands: Air France, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Joon, Transavia and HOP! Air France.

In 2017 the group carried more than 98.7 million passengers.
