Aegeo Spas Leading Spa Management Solutions, the company currently managing the spa of the Creta Maris Beach Resort, has signed an agreement with the Aerospace Medical Center of Russia, for the rehabilitation of Russian cosmonauts on the island of Crete. Creta Maris Beach Resort According to the agreement, Aegeo Spas Leading Spa Management Solutions will undertake the recuperation process of the cosmonauts after their return from the International Space Station. “This is a special moment for us… and a great honor. We will be happy to accommodate Russian cosmonauts again on our premises and contribute to their rehabilitation after their long stay in space,” Creta Maris Beach Resort General Manager Nikos Vlassiadis said. The agreement was recently signed at the resort’s Apollo Hall, by the Head of Aegeo Spas Leading Spa Management Solutions, Zacharias Chnaris, and the representative of the Aerospace Medical Center of Russia, Mikhail Potapov, in the presence of Russian cosmonauts Anton Skaplerov and Sergey Prokopiev. The agreement also foresees the regular communication of the two parties, as well as the exchange of know-how and scientific information on innovations and patents. A member of the Metaxa Hospitality Group, Creta Maris Beach Resort is located in the area of Hersonissos, 24 km away from the Heraklion Airport. It includes 680 rooms, suites and bungalows; six restaurants; seven bars; seven swimming pools; a gym; the Hammam spa, the Asterias Children’s Club and spaces for outdoor and indoor activities.
