The Cycladic island of Paros is getting ready to welcome the “Summer Senses”, a new five-star hotel, set to open its doors in June 2019. According to an announcement, “Summer Senses” is the largest hospitality investment currently underway on the island, featuring 100 rooms and suites and covering an area of 25,000 square meters. Paros is a fast growing tourism destination and the “Summer Senses”, whose construction began in 2017, is expected to significantly upgrade the level of services offered on the island and set new standards in hospitality. “We are very happy about this project as ‘Summer Senses’ is set to change tourism on Paros. It is a large investment aiming to upgrade the tourism experience offered on the island, as well as highlight the concept of Greek hospitality,” said Panos Pantazopoulos, Managing Director of HIP.Hospitality, the company managing “Summer Senses”. Located in the area of Marpissa, “Summer Senses” offers 45 rooms and 55 luxury suites, two restaurants, two bars, spa facilities, a fitness center, three swimming pools covering over 1,000 square meters, and private pools for selected suites. Meanwhile, the hotel has entered into a strategic partnership with the Michelin- starred restaurant “Hytra”, a member of the Trastelis Group, for the opening of the “Galazia Hytra” restaurant within its premises. The team of Galazia Hytra will be bringing to Paros unique recipes that represent the best of creative Greek cuisine. “The unique concept and philosophy of ‘Summer Senses’ is in perfect harmony with ‘Hytra’ restaurant’s values,” Panos Pantazopoulos said. True to its philosophy of highlighting classic dishes through modern techniques and exceptional raw ingredients, the restaurant aims to transform “Summer Senses” into a true culinary destination.
