The hotel recently held its traditional blessing ceremony with the Father of the Hersonissos parish, in the presence of local authorities, the President and CEO of the Metaxa Hospitality Group, Andreas Metaxas, and the resort’s management team. During the ceremony, the resort’s Manager Nikos Vlassiadis thanked the guests and wished an exceptional tourism season to all. Furthermore, he invited the Creta Maris team to continue offering authentic Cretan hospitality. The blessing ceremony was also attended by the President of the Hersonissos Municipal Community, Aikaterini Tsichli; the representative of the regional office of tourism on Crete (GNTO), Giorgos Alexakis; the commander of the Hersonissos Police Department, Yiorgos Makroyiannakis; and the head of the Hersonissos Fire Department, Manolis Koukakis. Offering authentic Greek hospitality since 1975, the Creta Maris Beach Resort is located in the area of Hersonissos, 24 km away from the Heraklion Airport. The resort includes 680 rooms, suites and bungalows; six restaurants; seven bars; seven swimming pools; a gym; the Hammam spa, the Asterias Children’s Club and spaces for outdoor and indoor activities.
