OTA Insight, the cloud-based data intelligence platform for the hospitality industry, is co-organizing the Hotel Revenue Workshop, a two-day event designed to show hoteliers ways to maximize revenue and boost the return on investment (ROI) of their properties.

The event includes two educational workshops, which will be held in Thessaloniki on May 15, and in Athens on May 16.

OTA Insight empowers hoteliers to make smarter revenue and distribution decisions through its market leading suite of cloud-based business intelligence solutions including Rate Insight, Parity Insight and Revenue Insight.

“We’ll cover a lot of ground in these events but the focus of OTA Insight will be the online distribution and rate parity, which are subjects very close to our hearts. It is crucial to understand these issues if you want to maximize your revenue and profit,” said co-host Vasilios Riavoglou, Business Development Manager for Greece and Cyprus at OTA Insight, who also teaches at Thessaloniki’s Metropolitan College.

Attendees will also learn how to solve the most common problems with business forecasting and take only the most valuable reservations.

Furthermore, OTA Insight and its fellow hosts, IDeas and primalRES, will show participants the best ways to keep ahead of the competition, avoid giving away rooms too early or at very low rates, and strengthen direct sales on all channels.

According to OTA Insight, the workshop is highly recommended for those still selling too many rooms to tour operators with low-rate allotments, or struggling to find the time to build regular forecasts for confidently setting daily BAR pricing.
