Meanwhile, the Cypriots are known for their love for good food,” the hotel’s management said in announcement. “Visitors and locals, children and adults, from May 6-12, will be able to visit the resorts of Louis Hotels in Cyprus, and enjoy a traditional breakfast served with warm hospitality.” The event is part of the “Cyprus Breakfast and Brunch Week” initiative launched by the Cypriot Deputy Ministry of Tourism and the Cyprus Chefs Association, with the aim to promote the local gastronomy as a significant part of the overall tourism experience. The “Cyprus Breakfast and Brunch Week” at Louis Hotels will offer a great variety of tastes including the local haloumi cheese; mahalepi, a sweet with a rose aroma; jams made of local fruits; olive pies; and tahinopita, a Cypriot cake flavored with sesame paste. “Louis Hotels is one of the main supporters of Cypriot hospitality and inspirator of the ‘Cyprus Breakfast’ iniative in hotels, promoting local flavors and products.
