Aiming to promote Greece as a family and luxury Mediterranean destination to the UK market, the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) in May and June, will take part in four thematic roadshows to be held by British magazine “Travel Bulletin” in Bristol, Oxford, Sheffield and Glasgow, Scotland.

Dubbed “Travel Bulletin Showcases”, the events will see the participation of leading UK tour operators.

According to an announcement, the executives of the GNTO office in the UK and Ireland, will attend the Family Holiday Showcase in Bristol on May 13.

Next, they will participate in the Mediterranean Showcase events in Oxford and Sheffield during June 10-11. On June 18, they will travel to Glasgow and promote Greece in the Luxury Showcase event.

The aim of “Travel Bulletin” is to offer local tour operators information on new destinations, innovative products, as well as offer insight on new tourism trends and developments.

According to the GNTO, the event is a great opportunity for its executives to meet, inform and strengthen ties with a number of UK travel and tourism professionals that specialize in family, luxury and high-quality tourism in the Mediterranean market.
